Concerns over milk prices raised with Prince Charles

Dairy Farmers in North Yorkshire have taken their concerns over the price of milk to the Prince of Wales.

HRH Prince Charles was visiting the Wensleydale Creamery in Hawes, which takes its milk from farms in the Dales.

The dairy now employs 230 people, four times as many as when it shut 20 years ago, when it’s owners moved the production of Wensleydale cheese to Lancashire.
